Pilanesberg National Park is the fourth largest park in South Africa and is located in the crater of a volcano (already extinct 1.2 billion years ago), with a diameter of almost 600 km². This area is considered malaria-free and, in addition, is situated in a transition zone between the humid and arid savanna.

Among the fascinating Safari reserves, Pilanesberg is arguably the most accessible park and is home to an impressive range of animals, including the “Big Five” (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard and rhino) - the five most difficult large wild mammals to hunt by man, making it a must-see destination for nature lovers.
The safari lasts about three hours; both dawn and dusk are stunning and unforgettable scenes.
