SKYRIZI BINDS WITH HIGH AFFINITY AND SPECIFICITY TO IL-23/P191-5
The IL-23/IL-17 cytokine axis is central to the psoriatic disease process.2-8 By binding to the p19 subunit of IL-23, SKYRIZI downregulates the IL-23/17 cytokine axis that drives the pathogenicity of psoriasis. Targeting IL-23 has no impact on the nonpathogenic Th17 pathway.3,8-11
